Bridge Design Engineer
Ideal Candidates will:
- Have a valid Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Have 10 + years related Bridge Design Experience
- Be a motivated engineer with the ability to work independently
- Be experienced in railroad bridges
The Role:
Take on leadership roles, managing project delivery and assisting Project Managers in identifying and resolving issues.
- Serve as a technical lead on complex projects, guiding project direction and outcomes.
- Apply knowledge of railroad bridge analysis, design, and detailing methods in alignment with AREMA standards.
- Perform structural design and detailing of railroad bridge components with minimal guidance from senior staff.
- Supervise Junior Engineers on projects, providing direction and support.
- Manage tasks across multiple, concurrent projects and perform additional duties, including field and construction service assignments as needed.
- Utilize CADD, Microsoft Office, and structural analysis software effectively in project tasks.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with and lead team members effectively.
