Technical Expert Electricity

Function Description:

Context:

Facility Management (FAC) is responsible for the facilities management (Projects, Operations, Logistics, and Real Estate) of the bank’s network of agencies and large buildings.

Facility Management aims to be a strategic partner to the business, acting proactively to meet the evolving needs in terms of equipment and installations to better serve the end client and create value for all stakeholders.

The “Technical Equipment” division ensures the relevance and consistency of technical choices, considering the specifics of our real estate portfolio, technological innovations, the regulatory framework, and aiming to minimize risks and costs, particularly for critical installations, by ensuring knowledge and technical expertise in areas such as HVAC, electricity, data cabling, multimedia, fire safety, access and alarm systems, CCTV, BMS, etc., related to our portfolio.

Key Tasks:

As a Technical Equipment Expert, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting other FAC areas in the development of feasibility studies, concepts, and projects for both agencies (~300) and administrative buildings (~30). These studies will involve electrical installations (low voltage and medium voltage) and associated low current technologies (security installations, alarm systems, etc.).
  • Independently developing detailed technical concepts, for example, for technical rollouts.
  • Owning internal guidelines and procedures and applying them correctly.
  • Developing, publishing, and maintaining standardization through guidelines and procedures in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Conducting risk analyses, managing risk control, and overseeing the execution of technical audits.
  • Providing second-line expertise in case of issues or requests from other FAC areas.
  • Completing as-built documentation.

Currently, pre-studies for electrical installations in our agency network are critical. These mainly involve projects located in Wallonia and Brussels, where studies and documentation need to be prepared in French. These projects will also require at least one on-site visit.
