About the Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will oversee the financial performance of regional and central teams, partnering closely with leadership to shape business strategies. You will lead a worldwide finance team, ensuring compliance with global standards while delivering insightful analysis to support commercial objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to financial planning, risk management, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop financial strategies and provide actionable insights.
- Lead global financial planning cycles, from budgeting to rolling forecasts.
- Oversee performance analysis for local markets, product launches, and brand reviews.
- Drive operational excellence through process optimization and technology projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and manage risk effectively.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering innovation and talent growth.
About You
You are an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in complex, multinational environments. You thrive on collaboration, bringing clarity and insight to decision-making processes. With a sharp eye for detail and strategic foresight, you excel at navigating organizational challenges while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
What You Bring
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/IFRS knowledge preferred).
- At least 10 years in senior finance roles, with experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a global matrix organization.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (German, French, or Spanish) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
