Job Description:
As an R&D Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and enhancement of products and processes within the R&D department. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting tests for various R&D projects, including:
- Validating alternative raw materials.
- Evaluating competitor products for market insights.
- Developing new products with a focus on applications and properties.
- Optimizing existing products for better performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborating with R&D engineers and the R&D Manager to execute projects successfully.
- Contributing to the innovation process through insights from testing.
- Supporting sustainability initiatives by validating alternative materials.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for a proactive and driven individual who is eager to contribute to innovative construction solutions. The ideal candidate should possess:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Sciences, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: Technical background in laboratory testing and R&D. Familiarity with the construction sector is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of French is a plus.
- A hands-on mentality with a strong sense of responsibility.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrating flexibility and effective prioritization.
- A creative mindset and a willingness to explore new trends in the construction industry.
