As a Product Stewardship Specialist with our client, you will be at the forefront of ensuring global compliance with chemical control laws and product registration requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate advocacy efforts with the Global Regulatory Affairs manager, including participating in industry associations and representing the company’s interests.
  • Support the identification and tracking of emerging regulatory issues and changes; maintain and update essential compliance documents and tools.
  • Define and implement regional product stewardship strategies, including mitigation plans and New Substance Notification strategies, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor the execution of strategies by the Product Stewardship technical teams to ensure effective compliance.
  • Engage with regional customers to address and resolve issues related to chemical regulation requirements; develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Assist in the development of Product Stewardship tools, systems, processes, and policies to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • PhD, MSc, or BSc in chemistry, toxicology, or a related scientific field.
  • Detailed knowledge of EU chemical management regulations, including REACH and CLP; experience with chemical registration and post-registration compliance.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively within international, cross-functional teams.
  • High motivation, initiative, and integrity with a demonstrated sense of urgency to meet business needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Proficiency in English and French, with effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with REACH IT, IUCLID, and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.

Additional Information

This position is for a duration of 2 years with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based in Ile-de-France, with expected travel to other sites in Europe and Internationally (10%).
