A client of NonStop Consulting AG is looking for a skilled Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to join a top-tier biologics CDMO that partners with biotech firms to bring transformative therapies to patients worldwide. With cutting-edge facilities in Basel, the company is dedicated to innovation and delivering high-quality solutions.
Your Role
In this position, you will manage daily accounts payable tasks in SAP, including invoice processing, payment transactions, and account reconciliation. You’ll also handle VAT returns, support financial statement preparation, and ensure vendor data accuracy. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to a company dedicated to delivering breakthrough biologics.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and post accounts payable invoices in SAP
- Handle bank bookings and fixed asset accounting
- Conduct weekly payment runs
- Reconcile and review accounts regularly
- Prepare monthly VAT returns
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Maintain accurate master data in SAP
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or tax clerk certification with a focus on accounting
- Relevant experience being a part of a CDMO
- Proficient in Excel and SAP systems
- Fluency in English (C1) and German (C1)
