As a Senior Regulatory Toxicologist, you will be at the heart of the company’s efforts to provide top-tier regulatory consulting services. Your work will be diverse, combining technical expertise with strategic thinking. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing Testing Strategies: You will design and implement testing strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance with EU regulatory requirements under Regulation 1107/2009.
- Study Monitoring: You will oversee the progress of studies conducted by both internal teams and external partners, contributing innovative ideas and alternative testing methods where applicable.
- Risk Assessments and Exposure Estimates: You will perform comprehensive non-dietary risk assessments, including those for operators, workers, residents, and bystanders, ensuring that all potential risks are thoroughly evaluated.
- Dossier Preparation and Defense: You will be responsible for preparing regulatory dossiers for active ingredients (AI) and product registrations, as well as providing expert toxicological advice during the defense of these dossiers before regulatory bodies.
- Client Consultation: Working closely with clients, you will provide expert guidance on regulatory toxicology, ensuring that their projects meet all necessary requirements and are positioned for success.
- Mentorship: Although you will not have direct reports, you will play a key role in mentoring and training junior members of the toxicology team, helping to shape the next generation of experts.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- 5-15 years of experience as a Regulatory Toxicologist, with a strong background in toxicology requirements under EU Regulation 1107/2009.
- In-depth knowledge of endocrine disruption and QSAR modeling, with the ability to apply this expertise to regulatory challenges.
- Ideally, you will be an ERT (European Registered Toxicologist), although this is not mandatory.
- A proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional fluency in English, with proficiency in an additional European language being a plus.
Additional Information
This role offers a high degree of flexibility, with the option to work from home full-time or from one of the company’s offices across the EU, depending on your preference. You will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Toxicology, with no direct reports but the opportunity to mentor and guide junior team members.
