As Senior Regulatory Toxicologist, you’ll be at the intersection of science, regulation, and innovation. You’ll act as the company’s in-house specialist in developmental and reproductive toxicology, guiding safety evaluations and ensuring products are supported by robust, compliant data. Your expertise will inform strategic regulatory decisions, support product registrations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety science across the organisation.
You’ll assess complex toxicological data, develop scientifically sound safety positions, and ensure compliance with global regulations. You’ll work closely with internal partners across Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, and R&D to integrate toxicological considerations into every stage of product development. Externally, you’ll represent the company in industry and regulatory forums, contributing to advocacy efforts and advancing modern approaches to safety assessment.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s subject matter expert in developmental and reproductive toxicology.
- Provide regulatory toxicology guidance to support product safety assessments and global registrations.
- Critically evaluate study data and prepare scientific justifications for regulatory dossiers and customer documentation.
- Design and oversee testing strategies that align with OECD, ICH, REACH, TSCA, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Partner with CROs and internal teams to ensure study quality, relevance, and compliance.
- Drive the use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and innovative tools to enhance safety assessment.
- Represent the company in industry and regulatory working groups, contributing to scientific and advocacy initiatives.
- Support internal training and knowledge sharing on regulatory toxicology and human health safety.
Key Requirements
- PhD in Toxicology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related life science.
- 10-15 years of experience in regulatory toxicology, with a strong focus on reproductive and developmental endpoints.
- Proven ability to interpret complex toxicological data in line with OECD/ICH guidelines.
- Strong understanding of the Mode of Action for reproductive and endocrine toxicants.
- Experience working under REACH, TSCA, or comparable global regulatory frameworks.
- ERT (European Registered Toxicologist) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Familiarity with New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and interest in data-driven tools such as AI or machine learning.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (French a plus).
