Senior Site Civil Engineer – New York, NY
Position: Full-Time, Senior Professional
Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000
About the Role
Join a multidisciplinary engineering & consulting firm in NYC, working on impactful land development projects across both municipal and private sectors. This role leads design, permitting, and site construction support in NYC and surrounding metro area, with the opportunity to mentor junior staff and take on management tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Lead preparation of site / civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports

Manage discrete tasks, budgets, and schedules for development projects

Perform periodic construction administration, site visits, and coordination with contractors

Guide and train junior engineers on technical work and project execution

Serve as liaison with clients, consultants, and agencies
Essential Requirements

BS or BE in Civil Engineering

5-10 years of relevant experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D

Familiarity with NYC / Westchester permitting and approvals

PE licensure (NY or other state) preferred; ability to obtain NY licensure within 6-12 months

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
