Technical Department Manager
In this role, you’ll be leading a technical department focused on ensuring operational reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across all technical installations and infrastructure. As the main point of contact for all technical matters, you’ll manage a team of engineers and workshop staff, driving maintenance excellence and supporting a high standard of health, safety, and environmental practices.
Your responsibilities include:

Managing the team of technical engineers and workshop personnel

Prioritizing and planning activities in coordination with the Maintenance Manager

Using and improving CMMS and BMS data systems

Leading initiatives with continuous improvement tools and methodologies

Ensuring efficient workplace organization (5S implementation)

Overseeing spare part management and maintenance of production equipment
What you bring:

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or technical management

At least 5 years of leadership experience in a mechanical or technical setting

Functional knowledge of CMMS and ERP systems

Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English

Solid proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

A hands-on, proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with procurement processes is a plus
