We’re hiring an experienced environmental professional to step into a key role focused on Phase I and Phase II site investigations, remediation, and client-facing work. This position is based in Tampa and best suited for someone local or already well-networked in the region.

This is a role for someone looking to grow beyond the technical and in a decade be quite high-up into the corporate ladder.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments

  • Oversee remediation projects from investigation through reporting and coordination with regulators

  • Serve as a client liaison and support business development – we’re looking for someone comfortable building relationships and bringing in work

  • Support municipal and private-sector clients; most current work is municipal but growing private project base

  • Assist in mentoring staff and preparing for future responsibilities in technical review (APR program)

  • Full support from a team of professionals, with growth into a group leadership role expected over time

  • Projects include brownfields, petroleum cleanups, dry cleaners, redevelopment sites, and more

  • No sales pressure today, but the right person will help the team grow into new markets

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting with Phase I/II and remediation focus

  • PE or PG preferred; strong technical and regulatory background required regardless of license

  • Strong written communication and client interaction skills

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Tampa (local relationships are important)

  • Must be a team player – no solo operators or remote-only setups
