Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit REACH dossiers (both joint and lead registrant), as well as Biocidal Product Regulation dossiers using IUCLID.
  • Support Poison Centre Notification (PCN) submissions and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) updates.
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring and assist in preparing client updates and strategic responses.
  • Manage applications for national authorisations of biocidal products during transitional periods.
  • Provide regulatory advice to clients and liaise directly with competent authorities on their behalf.
  • Contribute to various regulatory activities for substances and products across Europe and the UK.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, environmental sciences).
  • Sound understanding of European regulations including REACH, CLP, and BPR.
  • Ability to interpret legal texts and translate them into clear, strategic advice.
  • Competence using tools such as IUCLID and R4BP3.
  • Self-motivated and organised, with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, international team environment.
  • Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Desirable

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in REACH and/or Biocides within the EU/UK framework, ideally in a consulting or industry role.
  • Awareness of regulatory systems in non-EU markets or experience across multiple regulatory sectors (e.g. detergents, cosmetics, medical devices).
