Key Responsibilities

Evaluate physical, chemical, and analytical data for active substances and formulations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Summarize experimental data for authorization, assessing the quality and focus of experimental work to meet regulatory standards.
Prepare dossiers for active substance and product applications in line with European and zonal evaluation processes.
Draft scientific expert statements related to physico-chemical and analytical queries.
Monitor GLP studies pertaining to physico-chemical and analytical aspects.
Develop proposals for classification and labeling in accordance with GHS guidelines.
Support clients in strategic decisions and the development of testing and evaluation strategies.
Represent the company in meetings with clients, authorities, and within the scientific community.
Assist the physico-chemistry and analytical expert team in maintaining and enhancing technical expertise and team competencies.
Serve as a point of contact for other regulatory team members on physico-chemistry and analytical methods.

Key Requirements

Diploma or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, or a related discipline; a Ph.D. is advantageous.
Solid experience in physico-chemical and analytical methodologies within the context of EU Regulation 1107/2009
Strong scientific background in chemistry testing and regulatory chemistry.
Proficiency in standard IT applications, including Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team-based environments, fostering constructive interactions across departments.
Attention to detail and an accurate working style.
Capability to work effectively under time constraints.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure and simplify complex tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluency in English; additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish are advantageous.

Location: Full-time remote work available, with options for office locations across the EU.
