Do you have a passion for taking responsibility and making a difference with your skills? We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual for our Accounts Payable team in German-speaking Switzerland.
Accounts Payable Specialist
What Awaits You:
- Provide expert support to Shared Service Centers, continually enhancing collaboration in the outsourced Accounts Payable process.
- Assist Financial Shared Service Centers with operational queries and processes, especially in handling dunning notices and communication issues.
- Serve as a key contact for business areas, suppliers, and partners concerning complex business cases within your scope.
- Manage and process SAP down payments, and handle ad hoc SAP FI/MM bookings and corrections for urgent transactions.
- Contribute to monthly reconciliation of Accounts Payable Workflow Release Table Information.
- Handle daily mail processing and scanning as vacation cover.
- Support audit and project work and stand in for team members during vacations.
- Assist in various tasks and workflows.
What You Bring:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education.
- Further education as a Financial Accounting Specialist with a federal certificate.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI/MM), MS Office, Google applications, and Accounts Payable workflow.
- Good knowledge of Swiss GAAP (OR) and VAT regulations.
- Several years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a large enterprise or industrial sector.
- Excellent German, good French and English skills (spoken and written); Italian is a plus.
- You work in a structured, precise, independent, and timely manner, demonstrating high resilience and stress tolerance.
- You enjoy handling complex Accounts Payable cases and are flexible, agile, and service-oriented.
- You bring a strong quality awareness and team spirit.
- Your profile is rounded off with interconnected thinking, strong assertiveness, and intercultural competence.
