Your Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Take the lead in the preparation and submission of active substance dossiers, ensuring full compliance with EU Regulation 1107/2009.
- Strategize and implement effective regulatory pathways for new approvals and renewals, including expertise in Article 43 procedures.
- Oversee comprehensive data gap analyses and coordinate input from various scientific disciplines (e.g., toxicology, ecotoxicology, residues).
- Act as a key liaison with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
- Represent client interests in high-level communications with competent authorities and relevant stakeholder groups.
- Maintain a current understanding of the evolving EU regulatory landscape and provide insightful strategic guidance.
- Mentor and support the professional development of more junior members within the regulatory team.
Your Proven Expertise:
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as chemistry, biology, agronomy, or environmental sciences.
- A substantial background of 8-15 years in regulatory affairs, with significant practical experience in active substance registration.
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of EU Regulation 1107/2009, including a strong understanding of dossier requirements and approval processes.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, essential for effective regulatory interactions and client management.
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively across scientific disciplines.
- Experience gained within a consultancy or industry setting is highly desirable.
