Job Title: Firmware Engineer (C/C++)

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Firmware Engineer proficient in C/C++ to join their dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of firmware for their next-generation products, contributing to the advancement of Life Science Research. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to define requirements and specifications.
  • Implement algorithms for real-time control, data processing, and system integration.
  • Programme Embedded Micro-controllers in C/C++
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in firmware development, proposing innovative solutions to enhance product performance and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Several years of practical experience in software/firmware development with C/C++, particularly in embedded systems. Python is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics and control engineering principles.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong German and English language skills
