Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Firmware Engineer proficient in C/C++ to join their dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of firmware for their next-generation products, contributing to the advancement of Life Science Research. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to define requirements and specifications.
- Implement algorithms for real-time control, data processing, and system integration.
- Programme Embedded Micro-controllers in C/C++
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in firmware development, proposing innovative solutions to enhance product performance and functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Several years of practical experience in software/firmware development with C/C++, particularly in embedded systems. Python is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electronics and control engineering principles.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong German and English language skills
