Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies for active ingredients and associated products to secure new registrations and maintain existing ones in accordance with national, zonal, and regional regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the compilation and submission of registration dossiers, coordinating with internal departments and external consultants to gather necessary data from various scientific disciplines.
  • Oversee the creation of regulatory data packages, ensuring alignment with global regulatory considerations to optimize efficiency and avoid redundancy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory matters, providing strategic guidance to align business objectives with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company in official meetings with regulatory authorities and collaboration partners, advocating for the organization’s interests and positions.
  • Monitor and proactively address regulatory issues, informing the business of potential impacts and advising on necessary courses of action.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Regulatory Manager with full regulatory responsibility in regions with stringent regulatory frameworks (e.g., Europe, Brazil, US); global experience is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of registration and re-registration processes for active ingredients in countries or regions with rigorous regulatory standards.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a Life Sciences discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Agriculture).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly and concisely summarize complex technical information and report on regulatory developments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and effectively.
  • Strategic thinking abilities and strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships and networks both internally and externally.

Additional Information

This position is based in one of the company’s Global Regulatory hubs (Cologne, Paris), and offers the option for partial remote work arrangements. The role provides a valuable opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on innovation and excellence in crop protection.
