Job Overview: We are currently seeking candidates for a Geotechnical Engineer position based in Albany, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Develop proposals for subsurface investigations and geotechnical engineering services.
- Coordinate and assist in managing the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms.
- Perform technical analysis and provide parameters for design based on subsurface investigation results.
- Prepare geotechnical engineering reports.
- Conduct geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase, as needed.
- Participate in meetings with design team, stakeholders, and clients.
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- 0 to 5 years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field.
- EIT license is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Driver’s License Required.
- Capacity for self-motivation and ability to apply engineering knowledge to various projects.
Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 The specific salary offered may vary based on relevant experience, education, and work location.
