Your Impact:

• Lead the development and authoring of critical ecotoxicology sections for active substance and formulated product dossiers, ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert guidance and oversight in the assessment of complex client ecotoxicological data, including sophisticated data gap analysis and strategic preliminary risk assessments.
• Collaborate closely with the Principal Scientist and Section Leader to prepare in-depth technical reviews of intricate data sets and reports, contributing to high-level strategic decision-making.
• Spearhead the development of innovative regulatory strategies and experimental programs for client dossier preparation, leveraging your advanced knowledge to optimize outcomes.
• Direct and oversee experimental work, from initial requests and budget management to meticulous monitoring of standard and non-standard studies through close collaboration with Study Directors and laboratories.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients during post-submission dossier stewardship and defense, leveraging your expertise to navigate complex regulatory challenges.
• Champion the continuous improvement of our regulatory documentation and tools, ensuring they reflect the latest scientific and regulatory advancements.
• Independently manage project-related activities within ecotoxicology, ensuring adherence to current regulations and timelines.
• Proactively monitor and analyze emerging trends and developments in regulatory ecotoxicology, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Identify, critically analyze, and champion the implementation of relevant new guidance documents, positioning the company at the forefront of best practices.
• Represent the company as a subject matter expert at conferences, seminars, and crucial client meetings.

Your Expertise:

• Demonstrable deep and robust knowledge in regulatory ecotoxicology acquired through advanced education (Master of Science, PhD preferred) and significant progressive professional experience.
• Proven track record of success within regulatory consultancy or the crop protection industry, with a strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional ability to mentor, guide, and empower junior experts within a diverse, international team.
• Established ability to independently define, lead, and execute high-level regulatory research and strategic initiatives.
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to solve complex scientific and regulatory challenges.

• Fluent and professional command of English is essential.
