Nonstop Care is working with a local authority that is looking for an experienced Team Manager to join their Duty and Assessment Team in the Berkshire area.

As a Team Manager, this role will allow you to build effective relationships with your team and create a positive work environment, increasing job satisfaction for both you and social workers you work with.

Your Responsibilities:

* To manage the overall decision making, planning and delivery of services to service users and their families.
* To manage the service and a team of staff within the legislative and procedural framework of the City Council
* To manage the allocated budget of the service and team for which the Manager is responsible.
* To manage the development of strategic policy and procedures within the Departmental Business planning processes.
* To manage Children’s Social Care within a Performance Management Framework that supports the priorities of the Service, Department and Council

Requirements:

* Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration. (SWE)
* Post-qualified experience, demonstrate experience in a Team Manager role.
* Strong understanding of Assessments and/or Child Protection
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prior experience of coaching/ mentoring/co-working/supervision/ practice teaching.
* Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
* Clear, Enhanced DBS
