  • Experience managing children protection and care proceedings. They also need an understanding of the complexities of disabled children.

NonStop’s client, a Local Authority in East London, is looking for Team Manager who can join their Children with Disabilities Team on a permanent basis, provide the operational management and leadership support across the service.

Further to this, the CWD Team Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Children Looked After with disabilities including overseeing Court work, SEND tribunals (in the High Court) and permanency planning arrangements for children in care with disabilities, as well as providing oversight on transitional arrangements.

This is a hybrid role, however the Team Manager will be on duty every other week at which time they need to be present at the office. We have free parking at the office.

You will be a qualified and registered social worker, with a proven track record of successfully managing a team or you may be looking for your first move into management.
