Charitable clothes drive a hit in Malawi

13th January 2017 | Blog

Late last year many of our employees and people from other offices in our building cleared wardrobes in the name of charity.

We ended up sending about 90kgs of clothes to a remote and desperately poor Malawian community. Denis Malala, a local social worker, had the following to say…

On behalf of the entire community of beneficiaries I am hugely appreciative of what NonStop Recruitment has done for us. We know it was not easy. Everyone here is glad and appreciative of your kindness and asked me to deliver this thankful message to you all. If you look closely at them you will see they are really poor people and external help such as this really does go a long way. With clothes received, I made sure they reached the poorest of the poor across two villages. Those who were not gifted clothes – mostly children – received a wonderful NonStop bag to use for carrying books when they go to school.

I hope you get the chance to come here one day and witness for yourself how people are starving with poverty and what happiness those clothes brought them. There are many people in this world who are better off but there are few who think of others so chronically poor as you did.

Once again, thank you very much for your kindness and blessings to your organisation.
